Steven Schumacher did not name the duo in question but revealed that he will weigh up whether to risk them after speaking with the medical staff.“We have got a couple of little niggles from Tuesday night's game and the training sessions this week,” the head coach confirmed.“I won’t name names because I don't want to give anything away, but there's one or two that we are just assessing.“I will speak to the medical team later on this afternoon and see where they're at, see if it's worth putting them in and risking or if it's worth saving.“But there are one or two that are, as I say, just a couple of question marks but in general it is still a pretty full squad.”Schumacher insists that the group have not spent much time dwelling on Tuesday’s defeat against Port Vale in the Vertu Trophy as they gear up for a big game at the Brick Community Stadium.“It is part and parcel of football. You get bad results, sometimes you get poor performances,” he added.“You have got to find a way to move on and get on to the next game, be positive and figure out a way of how to beat Wigan. So that's been the full focus.“We didn't dwell too much on Tuesday's game. There was obviously a lot of changes and in the performance, we didn't really know an awful lot about Port Vale were going to do.“We didn't play brilliantly well so there's no point going over it too much. We just wanted to reset, get ready to go again and prepared well Thursday and Friday for the big test at Wigan.”The Whites have won one game in seven in all competitions, but there is no better place to bounce back than against local rivals.“We have had two draws and two defeats since Boxing Day (in the league). But as I say, it's part and parcel of being a manager and a head coach," said Schumacher.“You have got to figure out a way to keep the players going. I sense that the players are still really onside.“We know what we are doing, we understand where we haven't been good in the last two performances – Peterborough and Port Vale - areas where we can get better.“So it is just time to move on and be positive. We are still sixth so let's have a good go. Going into a brilliant game that everyone's looking forward to, so get a smile on our face and let's go.”
