AFCON 2025 final statistical preview: Key numbers behind Senegal vs Morocco

Senegal and Morocco will face off in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final on Sunday (18 January) in Rabat, fighting for a chance to be crowned champions of the continental football competition.

It would be the first time the two nations have played each other in AFCON history, though they have previously faced each other 32 times.

Both countries have won the AFCON once in their history, with Morocco's only victory coming in 1976. They last played in the final in 2004.
