All Olympic Games venues and host city zones at a glance

The Olympic Games LA28 will run from 14–30 July 2028, staging 51 sports disciplines across more than 40 venues stretching from downtown Los Angeles to as far afield as Oklahoma City and New York.

No new permanent structures will be built for the occasion – a first for any Summer Games since London 1948 – with organisers instead drawing on Southern California’s deep roster of world-class arenas, stadiums, and open watercourses.

Two venues will make history during LA28: The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in the Exposition Park Zone and Rose Bowl Stadium in the Pasadena Zone.

These venues will each host their third Olympic Games, a distinction no other stadiums in the world can claim.

Here is every confirmed competition venue, organised by zone, and the sports each one will host.

Long Beach Zone

Alamitos Beach Stadium – Beach volleyball

Long Beach Aquatics Center – Artistic swimming, water polo

Long Beach Arena – Handball

Long Beach Climbing Theater – Sport climbing

Long Beach Target Shooting Hall – Shooting (rifle and pistol)

Marine Stadium – Canoe sprint, rowing

Belmont Shore – Open water swimming, rowing coastal beach sprints, sailing (windsurfing and kite)

Port of Los Angeles Zone

Port of Los Angeles – Sailing (dinghy, skiff and multihull)

Carson Zone

Carson Stadium – Archery, rugby sevens

Carson Velodrome – Track cycling

Carson Courts – Tennis

Carson Field – Hockey

Arcadia Zone

Santa Anita Park – Equestrian

Whittier Narrows Zone

Whittier Narrows Clay Shooting Center – Shooting (shotgun)

City of Industry Zone

Industry Hills MTB Course – Mountain bike

Football – preliminary stages

Six cities across the United States will host group stage and knockout football matches, with the tournament moving west toward the Rose Bowl for the medal rounds.

The confirmed host cities: New York, Columbus (Ohio), Nashville, St. Louis, San José, and San Diego.
