No. 4 Virginia Set For Final Home Weekend of Regular Season

The Cavaliers take on Notre Dame on Friday and Louisville on Sunday.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 4 Virginia men's tennis team (17-3, 9-1 ACC) is set for its final home weekend of the regular season. The Cavaliers begin with a matchup against No. 17 Notre Dame on Friday, April 3 at 3 p.m. before taking on Louisville on Sunday, April 5 at 1 p.m.

Sunday is Senior Day honoring Måns Dahlberg and Douglas Yaffa.

There will be live video streams and live scoring for both matches.

The matches will also be featured on the Cracked Raquets CrossCourt Cast on ACCNX.

CAVALIER NOTES

Virginia held steady at No. 4 in this week's ITA team rankings. The Cavaliers have been ranked in the top five all season.

Keegan Rice leads the team with a 26-4 record, going 10-1 at No. 2.

Måns Dahlberg has reached the 20-singles victory mark for the second straight year, coming in with a 21-11 record.

Sophomores Stiles Brockett and Jangjun Kim have also hit the 20-win mark.

The Cavaliers have four players appearing in the latest ITA singles rankings: Dylan Dietrich at No. 2, Keegan Rice at No. 14, Andres Santamarta Roig at No. 40 and Jangjun Kim at No. 102.

As for doubles, Dahlberg and Dietrich are No. 5, Dietrich and Brockett are No. 9 and Dahlberg and Kim are No. 46.

The Cavaliers play their final match of the regular season, a Commonwealth Clash against Virginia Tech on Thursday, April 9 at 4:30 p.m. in Blacksburg, Va.
