After knocking Alianza Lima out of the first Copa Libertadores qualifying round, 2 de Mayo is looking to repeat the feat against a second Peruvian giant in a decisive clash against Sporting Cristal on Tuesday live on beIN SPORTS.

Paraguayan side, 2 de Mayo, is travelling to Sporting Cristal's Estadio Miguel Grau in Lima for the second leg of the second round of qualification for the group stages. A madcap first leg at 2 de Mayo's home last week produced an entertaining 2-2 draw with a late own goal by the Paraguayans preventing them taking a 2-1 lead into Tuesday's game.

The advantage of a 2-2 tied scoreline on home soil certainly gives Sporting Cristal the edge in the decisive match, however Alianza Lima's players would have been thinking the same thing before 2 de Mayo drew 1-1 in Peru to go through 2-1 on aggregate in a first-round shock.

What's more remarkable is that this is the first season of Copa Libertadores football experienced by 2 de Mayo, who has slain one giant already and looking to do it all over again. Sporting Cristal are veterans of the Copa Libertadores and competing for the eighth season in a row and the 41st in the club's history.
