FORT WORTH – UCF threw the first punch on Friday, but the Horned Frogs delivered the second and ensured there would not be a third.No. 5 TCU rallied for a 4-1 victory over the 12th-ranked Knights at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in a Big 12 dual. The Horned Frogs lost the doubles point but countered with a sweep of courts one through four in singles.Duncan Chan and Cooper Woestendick put the Frogs (14-5, 3-1 Big 12) in front via a pair of straight set wins over the Knights' highest-ranked players in No. 71 Yassine Dlimi and No. 83 Wissam Abderrahman. Albert Pedrico stretched the lead to 3-1 with a victory on the 4-line. Oliver Bonding then earned the match-clincher – the first of his career – after coming back from a set down on court three to secure a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory over Mehdi Benchakroun.UCF (17-3, 3-1 Big 12) became the eighth top-25 team TCU has defeated thus far in the 2026 campaign.TCU extended its outdoor home winning streak to 27 matches with the result. His absence again loomed large, as the Frogs were forced to alter the composition of their preferred pairings.Bonding was elevated from his usual spot on court three to the top alongside Chan for a match vs. Dlimi and Paul Colin.
