Frank Lampard has made seven changes to his Coventry City side to face Leicester in today’s big M69 derby at the CBS Arena.

Carl Rushworth returns in goal in place of Ben Wilson following last week’s FA Cup tie at Stoke, while both full-backs – Milan van Ewijk and Jay Dasilva – are restored to the back four where Liam Kitching continues, but alongside Joel Latibeaudiere rather than Luke Woolfenden, who drops to the bench.

The midfield sees the welcome return of Victor Torp from injury alongside skipper Matt Grimes in what is expected to be a 4-2-3-1 formation against the Foxes.

January loan signing Romain Esse keeps his place on the right wing while Ephron Mason-Clark comes back into the starting line-up on the left in place of fellow new recruit, Mini-Hyeok Yang, who provides back-up among a strong looking list of substitutes.

Jack Rudoni is expected to operate in the number ten role behind lone striker Ellis Simms who comes in to replace Haji Wright on a day when Brandon Thomas-Asante is included on the bench after ten matches out with a hamstring strain. Tatsuhiro Sakamoto is another attacking option among the subs.

City: Carl Rushworth; Milan van Ewijk, Joel Latibeaudiere, Liam Kitching, Jay Dasilva; Matt Grimes, Victor Torp; Romain Esse, Jack Rudoni, Ephron Mason-Clark; Ellis Simms.

Subs: Ben Wilson (GK), Luke Woolfenden, Jake Bidwell, Jamie Allen, Josh Eccles, Mini-Hyeok Yang, Haji Wright, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Tatsuhiro Sakamoto.
