'Not easy for Draper to come back and be big favourite'

Budkov Kjaer 4-6 4-6 Norrie

Here's what Cameron Norrie had to say after that win: "It was an amazing start for Jack [Draper], it's not easy to come back from injury and play a match where he is the big favourite.

"He was really calm, played really well and enjoyed it. That gave me a lot of confidence to come out and play free.

"It's a pleasure to be here in Norway, never been here before. It's nice to see they love their tennis here and got to see a young rising star like Nico [Budkov Kjaer].

"He's really talented player, We practice a lot in Monaco and I wanted to make it a physical match and I was able to do that in the first set. It accumulated well and I was able to tap that small advantage in the second set. "

On tomorrow's doubles match: "Those boys [Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool] are ready to get back on the court, they made their debut in the last match and they're ready to go. We're going ton enjoy tonight and get ready for that one."

Break points Norrie

Budkov Kjaer 4-6 4-2 Norrie*

Cameron Norrie works Nicolai Budkov Kjaer from one side of the court to the other before going for the drop shot, but Nicolai Budkov Kjaer gets there and makes a brilliant return - only for Norrie to squeeze it back cross-court and win the point. 15-15.

And Norrie only gets better from there, once again working his way to the net before smashing down a winner for two break points.

Norrie holds serve

Budkov Kjaer 4-6 4-2 Norrie*

Cameron Norrie knows he has to up his level here if he's to find a way back in this second set. He switches things up with a run to the net, catching Nicolai Budkov Kjaer out with a drop shot before landing an ace.

Norrie's next approach to the net isn't as smooth, but he wins the point after Budkov Kjaer misses a down-the-line backhand.

And there's the hold to love. Much better from the British number two.
