Owls Fund to Host Pregame Tailgate for Owl Nation at Jax State

KENNESAW, Ga. – Ahead of Kennesaw State football's highly anticipated showdown at Jax State on Saturday, Nov. 15, Kennesaw State athletics and the Owls Fund are hosting a pregame tailgate for fans to get together prior to the big game down in Jacksonville, Ala. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

Beginning three hours prior to kick, Owl Nation will be able to join together in Roost Lot B. Tickets for the tailgate are $30 and include free food and beverage with purchase.

The Week 12 matchup is shaping up to be one of the biggest games of the season in the Conference USA slate and Group of Six conferences at large. Kennesaw State and Jax State are currently tied for the lead in CUSA standings, both sitting at 5-0 in conference action. The game was moved to a primetime slot on ESPNU by ESPN due to excitement surrounding the showdown.

The Owls currently sit at 7-2 overall, having only suffered setbacks against ACC foe Wake Forest (6-3) and top-5 Big Ten opponent Indiana (10-0). The Gamecocks are 6-3 this season.

Kennesaw State and Jax State have played a total of five times, dating back to 2017, with two of the contests going to overtime. The Owls own a 3-2 advantage in the all-time series.
