Tennis Tracker: Andreeva and Machac victorious in Adelaide, Mensik claims Auckland title

08:25 CET - In the last of today's finals, eighth seed Tomas Machac has captured the crown in Adelaide after recovering from a second-set wobble to defeat Ugo Humbert 6-4, 6-7(2), 6-2.

Following compatriot Mensik's tournament win in Auckland, it is the first time two Czech men have clinched tour-level titles in the same week since 1982.

07:52 CET - Elisabetta Cocciaretto has won the second WTA title of her career after a convincing 6-4, 6-4 triumph over American teenager Iva Jovic in the Hobart final.

The Italian becomes the fourth qualifier in the tournament's history to win the singles trophy, following Mona Barthel (2012), Garbine Muguruza (2014), and Lauren Davis (2024).

Meanwhile, in Auckland, third seed Jakub Mensik has picked up his second ATP Tour crown after saving three set points in the second-set tiebreak to defeat Sebastian Baez 6-3, 7-6(7).

The Czech fired down 18 aces in a magnificent serving display to become the youngest Auckland champion since Juan Martin del Potro in 2009.

07:43 CET - Three of today's four finals have been completed in the early hours of the morning, with Mirra Andreeva claiming the WTA 500 title in Adelaide after a ruthless 6-3, 6-1 victory over Canada's Victoria Mboko.

It's a fourth career title for the 18-year-old Russian, who reeled off 12 of the last 13 games against Mboko to secure her first piece of silverware since last year's Indian Wells.
