The highly-rated Danish winger, 26, has been capped 40 times for his country and arrives with over 200 senior appearances in European football under his belt.Skov Olsen’s career began in the youth ranks of FC Nordsjælland, featuring in the Danish Superliga alongside Oliver Antman, where he netted over 20 times in 41 appearances.His impressive performances earned the Dane a move to Serie A in 2019 with a talented Bologna outfit, amassing 70 appearances in a three-year spell in Italy.On the international stage, Skov Olsen made his debut for Denmark in October 2020 and was part of the squad for the European Championships in 2021, where his side reached the semi-finals.Club Brugge then swooped to secure the winger’s signature in January 2022, with Skov Olsen helping the side lift the league title in his first season before netting the decisive goal in the Belgian Super Cup against Gent in July.A UEFA Champions League debut arrived in the subsequent campaign as the winger teed up the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in his first appearance in the competition before netting in a 4-0 away win over Porto in the following group stage match.The 2023/24 campaign proved particularly fruitful for the Danish international, registering a remarkable 38 goal contributions for club and country as Club Brugge regained the Belgian Pro League title.After an outstanding first half of the campaign last season with the Belgian side, where he scored or assisted 12 times in just 19 outings in the league, Skov Olsen made the move to VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.Speaking after becoming the third addition of the January transfer window, Skov Olsen said: “I’m very excited.
