Frank Lampard singled out the “little moment” that was such a “big deal” for Coventry City, epitomising the bond that has helped shape the team’s success this season. That moment was the square pass by nine-goal Haji Wright – who has not scored for four games – to his teammate and the division’s leading scorer, Brandon Thomas-Asante, to tap home his tenth of the season and secure a fine 3-1 victory over Sheffield United at the CBS Arena.Asked how impressed he was with Wright’s selfless act, having been played clean through on goal by Jamie Allen but went for the cast iron goal option rather than attempting to beat the goalkeeper himself, the Sky Blues boss said: “Yeah, it’s a big deal. And it was clearly the right thing to do but I understand a lot of centre-forwards want numbers, they want goals and even though Haji hasn’t scored for a few games.“Even though he’s on big numbers I think there’s a good bond between the players and that is a little moment that shows that. And it was so important because even though it might have been one minute left, but who knows what could happen, and that is the group at the minute.“And I say it to them all the time because a lot of things can affect the group; losing at Wrexham or we might lose other games and all that stuff. But if they can stay together and show that bond, that’s a little action that shows we’re in a good place. And we can’t lose that place and we can’t lose that attitude.”What did you make of Haji's decision?
