The families of England pair Jack Grealish and Harry Maguire have ‘led an exodus off the Three Lions’ wag boat’, according to reports. The pair are both set to be key for Gareth Southgate as he looks to steer the Three Lions to World Cup glory this winter. England are due to face France in the quarter-finals after a stirring 3-0 win over Senegal on Sunday night, with Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka all on target.

According to the Daily Mail, the families of both Grealish and Maguire have quit life on England’s wag boat after being ‘deeply unimpressed’ with life out at sea.

It’s said they felt isolated and the decision has been made after a fellow resident had, earlier in the tournament, urinated into the atrium from the fifth storey.

Families were also disturbed by celebrating fans returning late at night, while they experienced issues when it came to contacting their loved ones as well.

It’s said all of those on the ship from the England camp have ‘moved into hotels as planned’.

A number of World Cup players have also reportedly complained about ‘strange stains’ on their kit at the end of games, leading to concerns Qatar are painting some of their pitches green.
