Scott Brown clamps Jamie O'Hara's embarrassing comments about Celtic

Jamie O’Hara’s condescending comments about Celtic went viral this week.

The talkSPORT pundit was taking in Sky Sports’ segment where the broadcaster invites fans onto their platform to discuss their clubs and this week, O’Hara was on the show as a co-pundit.

O’Hara showed his Celtic ignorance as he disrespected Wilfried Nancy, the global reach of Celtic and by claiming Stockport County would win the Scottish Premiership.

It was one of the strangest and most embarrassing moments on Sky Sports who, by the way, pump millions of pounds into the Scottish game, as O’Hara tried, and failed, to devalue their product on their own platform.

If it wasn’t bad enough that A Celtic State of Mind’s Paul John Dykes put O’Hara in his place, next up is Celtic legend Scott Brown who has a message for the talkSPORT motormouth.

Celtic hero Scott Brown tells Jamie O’Hara to ‘get back in his box’

After watching the video of O’Hara embarrassing himself live on Sky Sports News, Brown told the former Spurs man to ‘get back in his box’.

Brown told Shebahn Aherne on TikTok, “Tell Jamie to get back in his box, please.

“I did see the video and talk about Stockport, winning the league up here.

“Like I know where he’s coming from, both teams are probably thinking, Hearts are top of the league, he’s probably never watched any of the games up in Scotland in a long, long time

“And there’s been many players came in for the English Premier League and struggled, especially at Celtic and Rangers as well.

“So look, it’s a different environment, and until you’ve been in that environment, I don’t think you really understand what it’s about.

“He’s a fantastic player down the road, and take nothing away from him in that aspect, but he needs to maybe watch a little bit more Scottish football before he can talk about that.”

What Jamie O’Hara said about Celtic and Stockport County

O’Hara claimed in the segment that he watches Scottish football. Well, after reading these comments, Celtic fans will claim otherwise.

Paul John Dykes from the Celtic State of Mind told O’Hara: “He (Nancy) seems like a forward-thinking progressive coach, a bit of a football philosopher. Of course, when these names arise, you do all your research. You look into what they’ve achieved, and I can understand why he’s a candidate. Absolutely no doubt about it.

“I can see that obviously there’s a comparison there between the Scottish game and MLS – Celtic are still a huge draw. Celtic are a massive draw. I’m pretty sure there’ll be quite a few on the short list.”

O’Hara: “You say it’s a massive draw, but look at the shortlist that’s come up. You’re getting custard pied by managers who don’t want the job. You say it’s a massive draw, but it isn’t. And it’s shown.”

Paul John Dykes: “Celtic are one of the biggest football clubs in the world – But custard pie by whom? Who gave Celtic a custard pie? Who’s knocked us back? I think you’re speculating there a little bit.”

O’Hara: “You’re looking at a manager from the MLS. You can’t tell me you’re a big club. You’re looking at a manager from the MLS.”

O’Hara proving that his views on Scottish football and Celtic should be kept off mainstream television channels once and for all.
