Pakistan release Mohammad Wasim Jr from remaining T20s against Australia

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr has been released from the national squad for the remaining two matches of the ongoing T20 International series against Australia, 24NewsHD TV on Friday.

Wasim Jr will not be available for selection for the final two fixtures of the series.

According to team sources, Pakistan will complete the remainder of the series with a 15-member squad, which is also expected to travel for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup.

The decision means Pakistan will stick with a settled group as they look to build continuity ahead of the global event.

Pakistan made a winning start to the three-match T20 series, defeating Australia by 22 runs in the opening match to take an early lead.
