The captain for India spoke to media following the team’s victory which secured them advancement to the T20 World Cup final, saying, “It’s an unbelievable feeling. Going to Ahmedabad for the final, special feeling for the boys. He knew what he wanted to do. Even after the wicket fell he knew the wicket was good.”

He even spoke to his fellow captain on the opposing English team, of which he recalled by continuing his remarks, saying, “I just told Harry that how much more we need to score against you guys. They were always in the game, always in, in the chase. But the way Bumrah, Arshdeep and other guys pulled it back was unbelievable. Special bowling performance. Oh my god. Need to give a littel credit to our fielding coach T Dilip as well.”

The final overs of the T20 match were packed with drama. England strived for a needed late surge to complete the chase, but India’s bowlers held their nerve. Of the action-packed semifinal game, Suryakumar Yadav continued with his comments, saying, “As soon as we saw Rashid bowling from one end, Dube was the perfect matchup. Very nervous. If someone would’ve checked my heart rate… In India, going for the title, there will be pressure, there will be nerves but the boys will be excited as well.”
