Arsenal are in talks with Jurrien Timber over a new contract.

The Gunners have been very busy securing the futures of their important players. Myles Lewis-Skelly, Gabriel Magalhaes and Ethan Nwaneri penned new deals in the summer, and William Saliba did the same a few months later.

Bukayo Saka has agreed a new Arsenal contract as well, and reports have claimed that Timber will be the next player to receive a new deal.

A Dutch pundit has now offered some interesting advice to the Arsenal right-back.

If Milos Kerkez is worth £40m, how much is Jurrien Timber worth?

What would be an appropriate sale price for Timber? Let us know in the comments. 👀

Jurrien Timber told to include a clause in his contract to make Arsenal sign Quinten Timber

Jurrien Timber is having an incredible season at Arsenal so far.

The Dutch international has been the best right-back in the Premier League and perhaps even the world, and the Gunners are right to reward him with a new deal.

Conversations have been taking place between the player’s camp and Andrea Berta, and the contract is expected to be signed without any hiccups.

Now, Dutch commentator Vincent Schildkamp has advised Timber to add a clause in his contract to make Arsenal sign his twin brother, Quinten.

Speaking about the Feyenoord midfielder, he said, as per Football Transfers: “He may have adjustment problems, but I think he can compete in midfield at Arsenal.

“Surely Jurrien will also tell his manager that he really has a very good twin brother?

“If he is going to extend his own contract in England, then shouldn’t he just say in a subordinate clause that his twin brother can be picked up for free this summer?”

If you were Andrea Berta and could sign any player in the world right now, who would it be and why?

Quinten Timber would be a smart signing for Arsenal

Arsenal have Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi as their first-choice midfield pairing, and they are both among the best in the world.

That partnership will not change any time soon, but the problem for the Gunners is that they don’t have a top-class backup.

Quinten Timber could be that player for the North Londoners, and what makes signing him a no-brainer is the fact that he will be available on a free transfer this summer.

Arteta has already branded the Timber twins as ‘extraordinary‘, so he is clearly aware of who the Feyenoord man is.
